EET Staffing Update
We are in the process of hiring three new staff for EET:
1. We have a new AV technician starting on September 8. His primary role will be to support video conferencing. This will take some pressure off of other staff who have been trying to support video conferencing in addition to their other responsibilities. This is a 10 month project position.
2. We are interviewing for the new Manager of Instructional Technology position next week. Hopefully we will have someone in place by early to mid-September. As many of you already know, this position has moved to EET. The plan is to integrate this position with our already strong team.
3. We're also looking for an instructional designer to assist with eCampus course development and other new projects we have coming our way. Pam will be working mostly on the Police Recruit Training project through the fall.
I'll keep you updated on this!

I've let my blog go for a while during the summer, but I'm back on track. Here's a link to an article on Curtis Bonk's new book titled "The World is Open: How Web Technology is Revolutionizing Education". I'll be passing the book around after I've read / skimmed through it. So far, very interesting!
